Dreamweaver Set Up

Create a folder in your server space for your newest web page.

In Dreamweaver...

Click on Site, New Site.

Enter a name for the site.

Specify the folder where everything will be kept.

Keep Refresh Local Files checked.

Enter the URL of the site where the web site will be hosted. You might want to set up a directory to host your site wherever you are storing your pages.

Select the Cache option. It improves the speed of Dreamweaver.

Click okay.

You can also use Dreamweaver to edit an existing site. The only difference is that you click on Define Site rather than New site.

The site window is used to organize an entire site.

Used to create new files
