Adding buttons to start and stop a movie

• Create a movie that is at least 10 seconds in length. Here is mine:

• Create a new layer that the start and stop buttons will be on.
• Add two buttons to the button layer, one for Stop, one for Play. Be sure to label them.
• Open the Action window
• Click on the button that you want to make stop the animation.
• In the Action window click on + , Basic Actions, On Mouse Event, and select how you want to activate stopping the movie. On release would be pretty logical...
• Double click on the action, Stop.
• Test your movie
• Click on the button that you want to make start the animation.
• In the Action window click on + , Basic Actions, On Mouse Event, and select how you want to activate playing the movie. On release would be pretty logical...
• Double click on the action, Play.
• Test your movie.
