Timelines Panel
- Represents the properties of layers and images over time.
- May change position, size, visibility and stacking.
- "Window", "Timelines" opens the timelines window.
- Right click on the timelines panel to open a menu that contains all relevant
commands.
Animating Layers
- Move the layer to where you want it to be when you start the animation.
- Select the layer you want to animate. Handles should appear around it.
- Choose "Modify", "Timeline", "Add Object"
or you can drag the selected object into the timelines panel.
- Click on the last dot and move the layer where you want it to end. You
should see a line indicating it's path.
- Test your animation...
- To move the animation in a curve:
- Click on the timeline, right click, click add keyframe, drag the
animation where you want it to be at that time.
- Animating by dragging:
- Select a layer.
- Select ""Modify", "Timeline", "Record
Path of Layer".
- Drag the layer around, releasing the mouse button where you want
it to end.
- Test!
Modifying Timelines
- Timing...length, start time.
- Position
- Select the entire timeline.
- Drag the layer; the entire path follows.
- Adding or deleting timelines.
- Looping
